This is an American Bracket clock by Townsend, made in Warwick, NY, circa 1800-1810. The case is mahogany, veneered with satin wood banding and inlay. The painted dial is arched and has Arabic numerals, There is also a floral design spray painted on the arch, and the dial is signed "Townsend, Warwick". The top of the case is flat with a brass circular ring handle, and the clock sits on brass claw feet. The 8 day timepiece is a fusee.
