This is a heavily carved, walnut cased, mantle clock with carved detailing on top of the peak and all over the front of the case. It has a high grade German triple fusee unmarked movement. The clock is circa 1890-1900. The front of the case has 2 full wood fluted columns, and on both sides of the case there are fabric backed fretwork windows. The dial is white fired enamel with Arabic numerals and is signed by the retailer "Tiffany & Co.". The dial also has a silent/chime lever at 3:00. The 8 day triple fusee movement plays the Westminster chime on the 1/4 hours on 4 tuned coil gongs and strikes the hours on a fifth gong.
